About Caroline

Since leaving her hometown of Marietta GA, to attend Auburn University, Caroline has been on a creative adventure.

Caroline spent her early floral design career in Charleston SC, where she started as a floral student, apprentice, and eventual employee of Charleston Stems. Stems owner, Anne Dabney, served not only as a mentor but helped shape Caroline into the designer she is today. She continues her education and she studies floral jewelry gifts design at the Jewellers Academy in London.

The adventure continued in New York City, where Caroline and her husband moved in 2010. She enrolled in the prestigious Floral Design certificate program, at the world-renowned New York Botanical Gardens, where she mastered her technique.

Post graduation, she spent the next two years as a designer, working under Amy Gardella at Seaport Flowers in Brooklyn Heights. The NYC creative culture was contagious and gave her the confidence to begin building her own business.

After spending two years in NYC, she was ready to venture back to the south. She lives in East Nashville with her husband and two dogs.

Caroline’s Mission

Caroline’s style is organic, effortless, and can be described as classic with a modern twist. She desires her flowers to help tell a story and loves to include details that speak to the couple or individual and their specific event.

Caroline also loves sourcing unique flowers from locations all over the world and thinking outside of the box. She loves using greenery and different textures within an arrangement since they help bring movement and life to the flowers. In addition, having lived in different cities, Caroline feels that her style has been influenced by the different subcultures and areas in which she’s lived. As a result, she isn’t your typical florist.

She feels that quality is important and desires to truly to create a memorable experience for her client from start to finish.
